Another new Hallmark ornament series for 2010

A new series for 2010 is the Windows of Faith series.  The first ornament in the series, Glad Tidings, was designed by Keepsake Artist Tom Best.  This ornament features a light clip that accomodates a standard mini-sized bulb so you can really make it appear as stained glass.  I'm hoping that the picture doesn't do this ornament justice and it will be prettier than it appears.  I suspect displaying it backlight with the mini bulb will make all the difference.

New Series for 2010: Star Trek Legends

One of the new ornament series Hallmark is introducing for 2010 is Star Trek Legends.  This series will feature characters from the original Star Trek television show that debuted in the 1960s.  The figures will be a bit larger and more detailed than the Hallmark Keepsake Magic ornaments issued in prior years.  According to "For Keeps" (the newsletter of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club), "they will also feature action poses than will work together to tell a story as they are displayed on the tree."

The first ornament in the series will be Captain Kirk, sculpted by Keepsake Artist Anita Marra Rogers.

2010 Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

This 2010 Hallmark ornament will play "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" performed by the Jackson 5.

The Keepsake Artist named for this ornament is Cullen Brown.  I don't recognize that name.  Is this a new artist at Hallmark?

The Jetsons 2010 Hallmark Ornament

Here's a couple more 2010 Hallmark ornaments. First, we have Rosie the Robot from The Jetsons TV show. It is a Hallmark Keepsake Magic ornament, so it will be fun to see what the "magic" is--probably lights and sound.

The next sneak peek is for the Merry Mixer ornament by Nello Williams.  Won't this look cute with the Holiday Perks coffee maker ornament from last year?

Just in call you missed the 2009 Holiday Perks ornament, it is still available from Christmas Past Hallmark Ornaments.

Another 2010 Hallmark Ornament Sneak Peek

Disney ornament: The 2010 line of Hallmark ornaments will include an ornament of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and The Frog movie.

Baby's 1st Christmas ornament: Hallmark is reissuing the popular porcelain booties ornament that was one of the 2009 Baby's First Christmas ornaments. It appears this ornament will be available in 2011 also, as it comes with interchangeable charms for 2010 and 2011. You can see a picture of it on the Christmas Past website in the 2010 Hallmark Ornaments category. What do you think of Hallmark's reissuing ornaments from prior years?

Branching Out In Style by Linda Sickman:
