Ornament Show

There don't seem to be very many secondary market shows for Hallmark ornaments anymore. I think it is probably because of the popularity of the internet. Most buying, selling, and trading of ornaments now happens online. Anyway, I received an email today about a secondary market show so I thought I'd share it.

The Ornament Collectors Club of the Ozarks has set their Holiday Collectable
Show for September 13, 2008.
9:00 Am -3:00 PM
Lamplighter Inn on North Glenstone and I-44 Springfield, MO
There is a special room rate available if you mention the Club.
Joyce Lyle Retired Hallmark Artists will be present to sign her ornaments and to show and sell her
new line of Pins and Ornaments.
We are tentatively scheduling LaDene Votruba as well.
Frank Williams will be there with his ornaments to sell.
There are several other dealers displaying all kinds of ornaments and Holiday collectables, We are
contacting other retired Hallmark artists and will pass that information on later.
Some tables are still available.

Hallmark.com No Longer Selling Ornaments Online

In response to one of the comments: Hallmark.com will no longer be selling gifts, flowers, or ornaments online. It is my understanding that they will post the 2008 Dreambook online for the public to view in early May.

2008 Hallmark Halloween Ornaments

For you fans of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hallmark is issuing a couple ornaments you'll like in their 2008 Halloween ornament line. The first is of the Pumpkin King himself. The other is actually a set of four ornaments featuring Sally, Lock, Shock, and Barrel. You can see pictures of them on here:

In addition, there will be a 2008 Halloween ornament set featuring The Peanuts Gang, and another featuring Scooby-Doo.

I'm sorry that the pictures are small and of poor quality. Until I get my hands on the published paper Dreambook, that's the best quality I can give you.
